 Wow - I am honored to have received such a cool write up about my business in the Wallingford Patch! Patch writer, Vincent Salzo, had contacted me with a list of questions about my business, focusing on my recent rebranding away from Matt The Balloon Man, as well as how my business responded to the COVID Pandemic. As I told Vincent, the pandemic has been tough for my business, there's just no way around it. As a children's birthday party magician, I rely on large groups of people getting together. When that can't happen -- both for the safety of everyone involved and because the law is literally preventing it -- there's just not a lot a business like mine can do. I'm grateful that many of my library magic shows decided to keep their bookings last year and go to virtual shows. And I'm very hopeful that at least some of them will get back to in person shows again this year.
